Cruise highlights
Cruise Norway and Golf Under the Midnight Sun
Begin your journey in Olden, your gateway to a world of towering glaciers, cascading waterfalls, and deep mountain valleys. Next, enjoy a late night stay in Alesund, where you can discover endless Art Nouveau architecture. After a day at sea, visit Svolvaer (Lofoten), home to Lofoten Links, a spectacular 18-hole course with mountain views.
Next it’s on to Trollfjord, a breathtaking passage through the best of the Arctic Circle, followed by a late stay in Tromso, where you can enjoy the land of the midnight sun in the summer. We stop in Honningsvag, the last village before cruising the Nordkapp, or North Cape as it’s commonly known, a majestic cliff towering
over 1,000 feet above the sea. In the always stunning Alta, enjoy a warmer, drier climate than other ports in northern Norway as you experience thriving Sami culture and view the rock carvings in Hjemmeluft.
Visit the beautiful Nordic port of Harstad, where you can take a fishing tour in icy Atlantic waters or take the short easy hike up Mount Keipen for magnificent views. In Bodo, you can experience Saltstraumen, the world’s strongest tidal current and haven for fishing and divingenthusiasts.
In Trondheim, make your way to the historic Bakklandet neighborhood to see 17th century working-class homes that have been restored and transformed into trendy shops, and bars and restaurants specializing in local cuisine.
After your second day at sea. Visit the quiet little hamlet of Eidfjord is dwarfed by the outsized scenery that surrounds it: steep fjord walls, sparkling crystalline glaciers, and foaming waterfalls. Tour quaint Old Stavanger or visit Utstein Kloster, Norway’s best-preserved medieval monastery with an incredible (and ghostly) history.
Your voyage ends after a final day at sea in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your Ship: Azamara Journey
A luxurious boutique hotel at sea, the Azamara Journey is a mid-sized ship with a deck plan that’s intimate but never crowded, and offers everything modern voyagers are looking for—plus some unexpected extras.
The Azamara experience doesn’t pause when you depart a destination, it continues onboard with our top-tier dining, world-class entertainment and relaxing spa experiences.
